Why not create a hotel that gives people a chance to experience nature amongst the tree-tops, while also providing a uniquely designed housing experience?

Very cool.
As I’ll be visiting Buenos Aires later this winter, I’ve been reading up on all things Argentinian (including re-watching The Motorcycle Diaries), so I was tickled when I stumbled upon this icon set of the iconic Che Guevara, designed by Jorge Alderete for an Argentinian type foundry named Sudtipos (who also created a lovely Calgary-inspired font named Calgary Script!).

My little pal went in for knee surgery yesterday with a luxating patella. As far as the doc tells us, he’s being doing good since and we pick him up tomorrow. Looking forward to getting the little feller home for some recovery and TLC.
I quite often see similarities in the skies of the morning photos I take on the south coast to those taken by Aquabumps in Bondi around the same time. Here’s an example of photos taken a couple of days ago where you can see the same colours and clouds in the sky.
Incredible photos from Iori Tomita’s New World Transparent Specimen.
Part of an old drawing of mine (Taken with instagram)
My new, simplified version of Coarsewords went live yesterday. I’ve built the new site on Tumblr in favour of Wordpress. Whilst the other site may have looked better, it was a bastard to update, and combined with the waiting times from having t-shirt designs approved by Spreadshirt, made updating the site with new products quite laborious. The new approach is simpler, and I expect to be focusing more time and effort now on creating new t-shirt designs rather than maintaining the website. Let’s see how it goes…
Experiment in the making: #tshitsbot
Having just signed up for an account at ifttt and really impressed so far with what the service can do, I decided to create a #tshitsbot that scans Twitter for mentions of the word tshits and retweets them via my @coarsewords account. This will hopefully prove to be quite fun, and I anticipate using the service to set up a few more similar bots. Perhaps this will be a new way for Coarsewords to spread it’s feelers across the internests…
Loving Aquabumps’ photos again…
Spent a day exploring old mines today and came away with one of my favourite shots I’ve taken in a while.
More excellence. This time the Urbancase Ledge.
Wow. This is incredible. An NES guitar.
I was really happy with this quick series of photos of Ike. Taken on Sunday morning with my iPhone 4, all I did was open them in Camera+ and run the new Clarity filter over them. I think the result looks stunning.
SXSW here I come! Leaving on a jetplane tomorrow to Austin, TX. Gonna be one hell of a ride. Been packing this afternoon in preparation. Packing my suitcase by folding my t-shirts Japanese style.
